What it does at your property
- Answers what guests ask before they arrive: check-in and check-out times, whether there's parking, whether you allow pets, breakfast, directions.
- Notes down every booking request: the dates, how many people, the room type, the name, the phone number and, if you ask for it, the email. It doesn't treat it as confirmed: you do that, because you can see availability.
- Looks after guests who are already on their way: if they're arriving late, how check-in works outside reception hours, with what its document says.
- Picks up calls during the night and leaves you a summary of them for the morning.
In your guests' language
Your agent speaks Spanish, English, French, German or Italian, with eight native voices in each language. Each agent answers in one language and doesn't switch mid-call; your account holds up to 10, so you can have one for each of your guests' languages. Catalan, Basque and Galician: not yet.
Rules for your property
- When they ask about availability for certain dates → don't promise it: take the dates, how many people and their phone number, and say reception will confirm it.
- When they want to pay or give a card → say payments aren't taken over the phone and that reception will explain how to do it.
- When they're arriving late or outside reception hours → explain how check-in works with what your document says.
Holiday cottages and holiday apartments
If you run a holiday cottage or some apartments, you're often cleaning, checking guests in or out and about: Voani answers the phone for you, responds with what's on your website and leaves you every request noted down. As you pay by the minute, with no monthly fee, in the low season you only pay for the time your agent talks.
The details of each request
As well as the name, the phone number and the reason, you ask for up to five details of your own: the dates, the number of people, the room type, whether they're bringing a pet or the email. Each request reaches your dashboard in order and, with a webhook, the tool you use.
What it would cost you
0.13 € per minute of conversation, VAT included and billed by the second. An example to give you an idea: 20 calls a day lasting 3 minutes, all 30 days of the month, come to 1,800 minutes: 234 € a month. You start with 20 free minutes, no card needed.
What it doesn't do yet
- Check availability or book in your hotel software: it notes down the request and reception confirms it.
- Take payment: Voani can't take payments. With the rule above, it tells anyone who wants to pay that reception will explain how.
- Connect to the property's phone: coming very soon. Today you create it and try it from your browser.
