AI receptionist for hairdressers: never miss a booking because you're with a client

Voani answers the phone at your hair salon or barber's while you're cutting: it takes down appointments with the service, who on the team they'd like and the day and time they'd prefer, and answers on prices and opening hours with what your website says. It doesn't treat the appointment as booked: your team confirms it.

What it does at your salon

  • Takes down appointments: which service they want, who on the team, what day and what time, with their name and number.
  • Asks what you need to know to book just the right amount of time: whether it's a cut, a colour or a long service.
  • Answers on prices and opening hours with what your website says.
  • Looks after anyone calling to say they're running late or to change the time, and notes it down for you.

Rules for your salon, in one click

The dashboard has ideas for hair salons, which you add as they are or change:

  • When they book a colour or a long service → ask what they want done, to book just the right amount of time.
  • When they call to say they're running late → say they'll wait, but the service may have to be shorter.
  • When they ask for a specific person on the team → note it in the booking and say they'll confirm if that person is free.

What it learns from your website

With “Read my website”, the AI reads up to 12 pages of your website and writes its document: your services with their prices, how long each one takes if you list it, the team, opening hours and where you are. If your price list is in a PDF, you upload it. Whatever isn't there, such as the days each person works, you write in yourself.

Is it right for your salon?

Some booking apps already come with their own assistant that answers the phone and books into their diary. If you use one of them and have that assistant, Voani doesn't replace it: your agent can't see your diary. Voani is a good fit if you don't use a diary like that, if you also want calls that aren't about appointments answered, or if you'd rather pay only for the minutes your agent talks, with no monthly fee.

What it would cost you

0.13 € per minute of conversation, VAT included and billed by the second: a one-minute appointment call costs 13 cents. An example to give you an idea: 20 calls a day lasting one minute, 24 days a month, come to 480 minutes: 62.40 € a month. You start with 20 free minutes, no card needed.

What it doesn't do yet

  • Book the appointment into your diary or booking app: it doesn't connect to any; it notes it down and your team confirms it.
  • Send appointment reminders by text or WhatsApp.
  • Connect to your salon's phone: coming very soon. Today you create it and try it from your browser.

If you also offer beauty treatments, see Voani for beauty salons and clinics.

Frequently asked questions

Can it book appointments with a specific person on the team?

It notes who they'd like it with and, with the dashboard's rule, says you'll confirm if that person is free. You finalise the appointment yourselves, because it can't see your diary yet.

Does it know how long each service takes?

If it's on your website or you write it in its document, yes. And with a rule you can ask it to find out what someone booking a colour or a long service wants done, to book just the right amount of time.

What does it do if a client calls to say they're running late?

Whatever you tell it. The rule the dashboard suggests: it says you'll wait, but the service may have to be shorter, and notes it down for you.

Does it connect to my booking app?

It doesn't connect to any booking app or calendar yet. It leaves each appointment noted down in the dashboard and, with a webhook, in the tool you use.

How much does it cost?

0.13 € per minute of conversation, VAT included, billed by the second. You start with 20 free minutes, no card needed, and no commitment.
