What it does at your salon
- Answers on prices: per area and per session, the courses and the offers you have on your website.
- Notes down every appointment: the treatment, the area, whether it's the first session, the day and time of day they'd prefer, the name and the phone number.
- Anything health-related, for the practitioner: contraindications, pregnancy, medication or sensitive skin. It notes it down exactly as it's said so you can confirm it with them.
- Looks after anyone changing or cancelling, and notes it down for you.
Rules for your salon
- When they ask about contraindications, pregnancy or medication → say the practitioner will assess it before the session and note it down.
- When they book a long treatment → ask which area and whether it's the first session, to book just the right amount of time.
- When they ask for a specific person on the team → note it in the booking and say they'll confirm if that person is free.
Each client's details
As well as the name, the phone number, the reason and their preferred date, you ask for the details that are useful to you, up to five of your own: the treatment, the area, whether it's the first session, the time of day or the practitioner they prefer. If you're a medical aesthetics clinic, what they tell you may be health data: a general reason is better than the details.
Your data is stored on a server in Spain; the voice and the AI use external providers (some in the US) only to process each call. You can switch off your agent's recording and request the data processing agreement.
Is it right for your salon?
Some management software for beauty salons already comes with its own assistant that answers the phone and books into its diary. If you use one of them and have that assistant, Voani doesn't replace it: your agent can't see your diary. Voani is a good fit if you don't use a diary like that, if you also want calls that aren't about appointments answered, or if you'd rather pay only for the minutes your agent talks, with no monthly fee.
What it would cost you
0.13 € per minute of conversation, VAT included and billed by the second. An example to give you an idea: 15 calls a day lasting 2 minutes, 22 days a month, come to 660 minutes: 85.80 € a month. You start with 20 free minutes, no card needed.
What it doesn't do yet
- Book the appointment into your diary: it notes it down and your team confirms it.
- Take deposits or payment for courses: Voani can't take payments.
- Connect to your salon's phone: coming very soon. Today you create it and try it from your browser.
If you also run a hair salon, see Voani for hairdressers.
